Recently at a Bossfight's band meeting, we were debating how to move forward as musicians and we kept coming to the fact that above all things, we missed just being 5 dudes who hung out together and made aggressive nerd rock. Along the way, in all the craziness that is touring and live shows and pressing albums, we lost what we loved about the band. After a short discussion we decided what we really wanted was you, the listener, to be able to enjoy the music no matter what financial situation you were currently in. The Bossfights had their first radio broadcast play last night! Dogfights & Dynamite premiered on San Diego's Rock 105.3 Loud & Local show!!! Such an awesome feeling! Hello all!!! First of all I am sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been extremey hectic since we got back from Florida...shows, injuries, jobs, life in general. But things are starting to settle down now, and we are getting back up to our normal pace again.  So I thought i'd let you all in on a few of the happenings in Bossfights land.

1.) So our brothers and face-melters of the east coast, Sci-Fried, recorded our Nerdapalooza set in it's entirity, in glorious high definition, and I finally got the right software and codecs to view it. Let me tell you we have some great footage to show you guys once we get it cut and edited. Thanks guys. We heart you mucho.

2.) Speaking of Sci-Fried. We are...wait for it...working on a collaboration! Yes! You heard it here first! Ok maybe you saw it on Facebook first. Anyway, we have put our maniacal minds together for a track featuring Sci-Fried and The Bossfights. Co-op Mode. Be ready for coast to coast face-meltage!!! Stay tuned for updates on this epic pairing.

3.) ATTENTION ALL MINIBOSSES!!! And everyone that is NOT a MINIBOSS!!!  We are recording a special Bossfights rendition of BOOM!!!, you guessed it, Headshot.  The classic ZeaLouS1 track, chopped, screwed, funktified and face-melt-inducing.  This is a MINIBOSS EXCLUSIVE!!! So if you have not yet signed up, scroll to the bottom of this page and DO IT!! DO IT NOWWWW!!!

4.) Also in the works for Miniboss exclusives: We are doing a kind of "VH1 Behind the Music" web series for The Bossfights. For those of you not old enough to remember this, "Behind The Music" is exactly what it sounds like. We'll be doing short (weekly, or bi-weekly depending on scheduling) segments discussing whats going on with the band, random facts, and stories behind the songs we write. Trust me, we have a story for all of them. Some will make you listen to the song in a whole new light, some you'll laugh at. Stay tuned!

Hopefully this makes up for the lack of updates and has you guys excited for whats to come!!

One last thing, check the store soon for updated merchandise! We will have shirts available, but very LIMITED quantities are left, so you'll have to get them fast! If we have enough demand when they are all gone we may be able to make more, but this depends on how badly you want them! Posters and stickers will also be available for purchase.

The nerds ruled Orlando this weekend at Nerdapalooza 2011!!! Thank you all so much for your love and support and for losing your minds during our set!! We had a great time. Special thank you to Sci-Fried for (AGAIN) for selflessly hooking us up with your gear, and for everything you did for us and making us feel like family. Special thanks also go out to Cupcake for all your hard work at the merch table, La1ka for the butter beer and cookies among other things (lol), A Side Quest for all the representation and advertising, and everyone else that helped us out. You know who you are!!!
